Slick Seersucker Suits at Thom Browne’s Spring/Summer 2013 Presentation
Slick seersucker suits were the main attraction at Thom Browne’s presentation on Saturday. Well, apart from the open-top Harrods bus, live band, cupcakes and celebrity guests.
The open-top bus parked down the side of Harrods became a stage to a live performance by Wolf Gang. A line-up of models processed in and boarded the bus, all clothed in matching Thom Browne summer seersucker suits. The silhouette was crisp, sharp, fitted, classic, with trouser hems cut above the ankle.
Tinie Tempah and Reggie Yates arrived, prior to Tinie’s Disturbing London event at Selfridges later that evening. Tinie wore a camouflage suit, plain grey tee, and cream brogues, whilst Reggie looked dapper in a light grey jacket, darker grey trousers, with a printed mandarin collared shirt.
I’d like to have seen a variety of Thom Browne suits on show, however the same suit was worn by both Wolf Gang as well as the line-up of models, but the uniformity did add to the overall charm of this unique event.
Slightly disappointed the band didn’t play this though…
